MOONSHINE - FULL CG

I have been planning for a long time to render an archviz scene that is set at night, with atmospheric moonlight. I have now also implemented this.
A modern open hotel on a hillside, with a perfect view of the ocean. Dynamic curtains blowing in the wind should not be missing and thus resulted in a beautiful play of light. I have simulated this with Maya nCloth... yes I know Old school :)
One of the biggest challenges was definitely the water outside,
it should look coherent and realistic.
The render times were also a challenge, because we have translucent materials with different light sources and also some environment fog to the back of the mountains.
The water outside had to be sampled very high because it has very fine details. In addition, I am a BIG fan of the "real" DepthOfField.
The landscape on the horizon I created with Houdini's terrain tool.
In the end all shots had to go through fusion, where they got color grading from me and some post effects. After that the footage went into Davinci Resolve, which I have now tried for the first time and I am thrilled.
I really hope you like it, it took a lot of my free time but I had a lot of fun making this scenario.
